Question from R. Lichtenstein to R. Shapira

Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, one of the Roshei Yeshiva at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush) has sent a question to Rav Shapira, Rosh Yeshiva of Merkaz HaRav.

I will post a link to the letter online as soon as I find it, as well as the english translation once someone posts it. For now, the next post has the text.
